I was a UX designer responsible for designing the whole app from conception to delivery. (responsibilities included conducting interviews, making paper and digital wireframes, creating low and high-fidelity prototypes, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs).
Upon initial research, I found that almost every viewer used to have a hard time finding ongoing/upcoming exhibitions, making it hard for them to decide and visit galleries given their busy schedules.
Inside the gallery, the viewers would crowd up near the paintings to read the description, which ended in blocking the view for others. Getting close to read the art description and then getting a little away to look at the art takes time and is an inefficient way to view an exhibition. So they need a better way to:
A concept showing how technology is set to change the viewing experiences for the exhibitions.
Consider the case of Manasee (Art Student), who wants to view exhibitions online. She just needs to get on Kala Dalan App, browse exhibitions, and enjoy the exhibition.

Consider the case of Rahul, who wants to view exhibitions at gallery. He just needs to get on Kala Dalan app, browse exhibitions, take a glance on what piques his interest, reserve entry and use guide mode to enjoy the exhibition at gallery.
